Hi! I’m Jill

Marketing Consultant, Designer, & Art Workshop Leader

Creativity works best when it feels intentional, not intimidating.

The Strategy Work

Here's what I've learned working with small businesses: clarity changes everything. When you know what you stand for and your brand actually shows it, marketing stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like momentum.

I guide business owners through the process of finding that clarity. I ask the questions that uncover what makes you distinct, then shape it into strategy, language, and design that feels like you.

The Creative Work

Something magical happens when adults finally give themselves permission to make art. They relax. They surprise themselves. They remember that creativity was never really about talent — it was always about play.

In a world that prizes productivity, making art simply for the joy of it can feel radical. But it's also one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself. Perfectionism softens. Curiosity returns. Confidence grows. I'd love to help you get there.

A Little More About Me

My path into this work wasn’t linear, and I’m grateful for that.

I have a degree in English, which shaped how I think about language, storytelling, and meaning. It's also probably why I ended up in brand marketing, a field that lives at the intersection of strategy and narrative, where the right words can make everything click. Over the past two decades I've worked with businesses of all sizes, but I keep coming back to small businesses and nonprofits. I understand what it feels like to build something personal, to wear many hats, and to care deeply about doing meaningful work.

The art workshops grew out of something personal. I’ve always been an artist at heart, and I studied graphic design as a way to translate my artistic instincts into a career.

Shortly after the 2020 pandemic, I found myself craving community and a laid-back place to nurture my inner artist. I envisioned a space where adults could try new art materials and explore their creativity. So I started hosting art workshops and received some encouraging feedback. People were full of joy, rediscovering their curiosity, laughing at mistakes, and marveling at what they could create when no one was judging. Watching adults light up at the art table is where I find my joy.

And in a lot of ways, it’s not so different from the creative work I do with my marketing clients. The medium may change, but the goal is the same: helping people find their footing, trust their instincts, and make something they’re genuinely proud of.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me at the dog park throwing a frisbee for Ollie, hiking in the redwoods, or experimenting with new art supplies.
